- 2 years of CURRENT Pharmacy Technician experience - Required
- Must be a CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECH (CPhT)
- Previous travel - Preferred
- High degree of proficiency in IV compound & chemotherapy compounding - Required
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- Travelers perm address must be included in our profile
- Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer

Inpatient and Infusion Only:
\n
- \n
- Prepares intravenous admixtures or other sterile drug products (including antineoplastic, investigational and hazardous medications) in accordance with USP chapters <797> and <800> under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Prepares or compounds non-sterile drug products (including antineoplastic, investigational and hazardous medications) in accordance with USP chapters <795> and <800> under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Utilizes closed system transfer devices to limit potential exposure of the environment to hazardous medications.
- Follows investigational protocols in the preparation of study medications, maintains records of preparation, stability, and dispenses as required.
- Maintains the hardware and software of the department's multiple computer systems.

Outpatient Only:

- Electronically processes prescription orders and prepares prescriptions for verification by a pharmacist.
- Processes third party claims.
- Assists in the call center, with mail order, prior authorizations and deposits.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Shift Type: Days Shift Times: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours/Day: 8 Shift Notes: Monday-Friday: 40 hrs/week Weekend Requirements: Rotating- usually every third with bonus 4 hours of comp time the following week/Holiday coverage required if needed On Call Requirements: TBD
