Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting students through Special Education services for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity is set in a vibrant school community near Enfield, NH, and runs from August 2026 through June 2027. You’ll be part of a collaborative and dedicated faculty, providing both direct instruction and case management. Positions are available at the high school level, with the potential for an elementary or preschool assignment as further staffing needs are determined.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (required)
- Proven school-based experience in special education (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Comfortable managing caseloads and overseeing student IEP compliance
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with faculty, administrators, and families
- Organizational strengths for case management, goal tracking, and timely documentation
- Positive, flexible attitude toward problem-solving and adapting to student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Serve as a case manager, developing and updating IEPs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Coordinate with general education staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and student growth
- Participate in parent conferences, IEP meetings, and professional development
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
