Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A unique opportunity is available for an experienced CNA, LNA, or Medical Assistant to support a student in a life skills program within a school setting. The role focuses on providing academic and personal care support for a 1:1 student, including assistance with positioning and toileting as per an individualized plan. The assignment runs through June 2026, providing stability and the chance to make a meaningful difference in a student's daily life.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m.
- Assignment through June 2026
Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire CNA or LNA certification required
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or similar background working with individuals who need physical and academic support
- Understanding of personal care assistance, including toileting plans and positioning
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and follow individualized support plans
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting students with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a student in the life skills program
- Assist with academic activities under the supervision of school staff
- Implement toileting plans and provide freshening and positioning support as needed
- Maintain documentation and communicate student progress to school teams
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that supports the student’s development
