Location: Hyannis, MA

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for OB/Labor & Delivery to provide patient care using the full nursing process. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and supporting a high-acuity hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Perform and document patient assessments
• Develop and update care plans
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Coordinate with care teams
• Educate patients and families
• Supervise support staff
• Act as charge nurse when required
• Follow safety and infection control protocols

Requirements

• RN License – Massachusetts
• Recent OB/Labor & Delivery experience (within 2 years)
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Education

• ADN required
• BSN preferred

Certifications

• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• NRP – Required
• Fetal Monitoring (every 2 years) – Required
• Pharmacology exam – Required
• CPI – Preferred

Work Environment

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• High-acuity, team-based setting
