A highly successful Real Estate Investment Company located in the Burlington area is looking for a Property Accounting Manager to join its growing team in a high-level contributing role. This locally owned company has recently completed several acquisitions and continues to expand, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a high-impact role. The Property Accounting Manager will oversee with the third-party property manager’s accounting team reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements, including all supporting schedules and workpapers. Will also be involved with portfolio treasury activities, cash management, accuracy of property rent rolls, financial reports, budgets and capital project requisition process. BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA certification preferred. 8-10+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within commercial real estate operating companies (multi-entity) or private equity real estate firms. This position is 3 days on-site but flexibility when needed along with strong benefits and aggressive bonus plan. BS Degree in Accounting or equivalent required – MBA or CPA +
8-10+ years of commercial real estate industry experience strongly preferred
Experience managing property accounting teams and third-party managers
MRI is desire – Yardi is acceptable – Advanced Excel skills needed.
Commercial Real Estate experience
Strong overall communication skills required.
