Key Qualifications:
- Active Vermont Special Education Teacher certification required
- Background in elementary education or demonstrated experience with young learners
- Solid understanding of IEP development, behavioral interventions, and differentiation

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner with general education teachers, parents, and specialists
- Prior experience in a special education setting preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to elementary students with a variety of learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with faculty, therapists, and parents to foster student success
- Track student progress, maintain records, and prepare progress reports
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and confidence
