Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating across multiple building trades, including civil, structural, architectural, and some mechanical and electrical disciplines. This role requires a professional who can work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver accurate and timely cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for all phases of construction projects, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical trades.

Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop comprehensive quantity take-offs.

Utilize On-Screen Takeoff and Microsoft Excel to perform precise estimates and maintain cost databases.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather and validate cost information.

Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.

Assist in bid preparation, proposal submissions, and project budgeting.

Maintain organized records of estimates, assumptions, and clarifications for future reference.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

3-7 years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and On-Screen Takeoff (or similar estimating software).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
