Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a General Manager or owner of a restaurant
Strong P&L knowledge and the ability to manage food and labor costs effectively
A builder's mindset: the ability to grow a business, not simply maintain it
Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to recruit, train, and mentor staff
Hands-on experience in both kitchen and front-of-house operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service
Open availability to meet the needs of a high-volume operation

Job Responsibilities:

As the Restaurant General Manager in Newton, MA, you will:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth
Ensure proper staffing levels while overseeing employee training and development
Oversee meal preparation and ensure consistently high-quality dishes are served to guests
Maintain inventory levels and exercise strong cost control
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
Provide budget oversight and monthly reporting, including cash handling, accounts receivable/payable, processing credit card transactions, and payroll administration

Company Benefits:

Competitive salary of $90,000 - $95,000 per year
