Master Millwork INC is a cutting-edge custom millwork firm that leverages the latest equipment and technologies to deliver high-quality cabinetry and architectural millwork. We specialize in commercial contracts for hotels, luxury apartments, long-term care facilities, and universities, providing a comprehensive turnkey operation that includes both production and installation.
We are looking for a strong leader to guide our Custom Millwork Department. This person must have a knowledge of millwork and construction to be able to understand what we do. This role involves guiding team members on what tasks they need to do, make sure product is finished on time, organize logistics of finished products, etc.
Skills Required
-Understanding of AWI Cabinets standards
-Understand of millwork products and materials
-Experience with manufacturing at production rates
-Lean manufacturing background preferred
-5+ Yr. experience working in a Supervisory role
-Ability to work under pressure
-Ability and willingness to meet deadlines
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish or Portuguese
- maintain proper workflows in order to meet production expectations
-Hiring for Production Dept in conjunction with HR
-Scheduling in conjunction with the Scheduling department
-Ability to train and coach cross functional team members
-Keep an active inventory of items needed for Production
-Update Shop Manager regarding department status on a regular basis.
-Manage shop production floor
-Safety Compliance
-Ensuring the Production Areas are kept clean and organized, at all times.
-Other duties as required by Production Manager
