The Hulbert Outdoor Center is seeking responsible, attentive Lifeguards to oversee waterfront activities for school, college, and adult groups. This role supports safe and enjoyable experiences on our lake through swimming and canoeing programs, all set on our stunning 400+ acre campus.

What You’ll Do

•Supervise waterfront activities including swimming and canoeing

•Enforce safety protocols and respond appropriately in emergency situations

•Conduct regular safety checks of waterfront areas and equipment

•Support set-up and take-down of waterfront activities

•Communicate clearly with program staff to ensure smooth and safe operations

•Provide a welcoming and positive presence for all participants

Requirements:

Requirements

•Current Lifeguard Certification (required)

•CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required)

•Strong awareness, decision-making, and communication skills

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•Comfort working outdoors in variable weather conditions
