Savvy Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support picking, put away, inventory, and material movement throughout the warehouse and production areas.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts
- 1st shift and 2nd shift available!
Responsibilities
- Pick parts and materials accurately using work orders, pick lists, and production requirements.
- Stage and deliver materials to designated production areas.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and locations.
- Put away incoming and returned materials in the correct warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Identify and report shortages, damaged materials, and inventory discrepancies.
- Keep warehouse and staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as trained.
- Work with Production, Receiving, Planning, and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, material handling, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read part numbers, labels, pick lists, and work orders.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
