We are seeking a dependable and detail-orientedAdministrative Assistantto provide part-time support to a private individual, primarily with financial administration and home/property management tasks. This role offers flexible hours, a comfortable working environment, and a blend of independent and collaborative work.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, trustworthy, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while communicating effectively with vendors, tradespeople, and the employer.
Key Responsibilities
- Pay bills (primarily online)
- Enter financial data into QuickBooks
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Schedule and coordinate home and property repairs at one additional property with two rental units
- Act as a liaison with tradespeople and service providers
- Sort and send out mail
- Perform occasional errands (post office, etc.)
- Provide backup support for occasional insurance billing (training provided if needed)
- Work independently and maintain operations while employer is traveling
Qualifications
- Must have experience with QuickBooks and online bill payment
- Valid driver’s license; access to a car is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- High degree of honesty, responsibility, and reliability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and maintain confidentiality
Schedule: 15–20 hours per week, ideally spread over 3 days
Compensation: Includes 2 weeks paid vacation; hourly rate commensurate with experience
Trial Period: 2–3 month paid training and trial period (10–15 hours/week)
