Title: Injection Molding Process Engineer

· Schedule: M-F, 1st shift, flexible hours

Description:

Hands-on role focused on developing and improving processes for injection molding machines, reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and optimize molding processes and materials.

· Conduct Design of Experiment (DOE) testing.

· Collaborate with engineering, quality, and toolmaking teams to address production and tooling challenges.

· Create process documentation and provide training to Process Technicians.

· Lead cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s in Engineering (Plastics preferred) and 4+ years in plastics process engineering.

· Proficient in DOE, technical writing, and automated manufacturing equipment.

· Familiarity with mold design, Lean Manufacturing, and high-volume injection molding.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with flexible film packaging and industry standards (ISO, SQF).

Physical Demands:

· Extensive walking, occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), and exposure to noise or unregulated temperatures.
