Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and self-directed Insurance Agent to join our growing team. This position involves working directly with clients to understand their insurance needs, provide coverage recommendations, develop new business, and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Provide quotes, policy information, and assistance with claims and billing
- Develop new business through networking, referrals, and relationship building
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and other administrative tasks
- Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and regulations
- Provide consistent communication and follow-up to clients
Qualifications
- Active insurance license or ability to obtain one
- Experience in insurance, sales, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Applied Systems preferred, or similar management system.
