Position Overview
The Superintendent - Data Centers will oversee the construction and operational management of data center projects, ensuring that all activities align with industry standards and client expectations. This role is critical in coordinating teams, managing schedules, and upholding safety and quality standards in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee construction activities for data center projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain documentation related to project progress, changes, and compliance with regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to report on project status and address concerns promptly.
- Ensure that all work meets the necessary specifications for cold storage and mission-critical environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in data center, industrial, or warehouse construction.
- Strong knowledge of cold storage, mission-critical systems, and data center operations.
- Familiarity with AWS and Meta technologies as they pertain to data center operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
