We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring their technology needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Monitor and maintain network and server systems to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure security and stability
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT solutions for clients
- Document all support activities and resolutions in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate with clients in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide the best support to clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or related role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Familiarity with network and server systems, including Active Directory and Exchange
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Availability to work remotely and occasionally travel to client sites as needed
