Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Rutland, Vermont
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite | 20252026 School Year
Start Date: August 27, 2025 (with potential pre-planning days)
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week

Position Overview:

Join a supportive and collaborative team as a School Occupational Therapist (OT) serving students from PreK through 12th grade across the Rutland area. This is a full-time, onsite position for the 20252026 academic year with a caseload shared evenly with a district OT, each managing approximately 5055 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to support students access to education

  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings

  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other service providers

  • Travel between 8 schools within the Supervisory Union

  • Support both direct and consultative service models based on student needs

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Current Vermont OT license (or eligibility)

  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel between sites
