Packaging Operator (Operator 1, Packaging Operations) — Woburn, MA (On-Site)
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Packaging Operator (Operator 1, Packaging Operations) for an on-site opportunity in Woburn, MA. This role supports the inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Pay
- $20.00/hr
Schedule
- Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime may be required (must be flexible)
What You’ll Do
- Manually inspect, label, and package finished products
- Package product according to approved procedures and quality specifications
- Inspect in-process packaging/components to ensure quality and remove defects
- Complete timely, accurate documentation (device history records, inventory counts, etc.)
- Perform basic math to support batch record completion
- Assist with inventory counting as needed
- Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions
- Perform routine cleaning of packaging areas/equipment
- Follow all PPE and contamination control / gowning requirements
- Handle hazardous waste as appropriate
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 6+ months of industry work experience (preferred/required by hiring team notes)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team
- Ability to read/understand documentation and follow procedures
- Basic computer familiarity and ability to perform basic math calculations
Important Notes
- No drug screening required
- Background check must be fully cleared before start (no exceptions)
- Cleaning uses a 70/30 alcohol solution (flammable)
