Afternoon Float Teacher (EEC Certified)
Location: The Learning Experience – Dedham, MA
Pay: $22–$23 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Afternoon Float Teacher – Multi-Classroom Support
The Learning Experience – Dedham is seeking a certified Afternoon Float Teacher to support infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms during afternoon routines and end-of-day transitions. This role helps maintain a safe, engaging, and organized environment for children and families during pickup hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Support classrooms across multiple age groups during afternoon hours
- Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and dismissal routines
- Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
- Provide ratio coverage as needed throughout the center
- Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
- Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler and Preschool certification required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting multiple classroom environments
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
