We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 care for a student with physical needs in a school setting in Henniker, NH. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for an LPN who wants to make a meaningful impact by providing both medical and emotional support to a student who requires daily assistance.

About the Role
In this role, you will be assigned to support one male student who uses a wheelchair. You will accompany him throughout his school day, ensuring his physical well-being, safety, and comfort. Youll assist with mobility and bathrooming needs, including safe use of a Hoyer lift, and be a key part of the students daily support team.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 care for a wheelchair-bound student during the full school day

Assist with transfers to and from the wheelchair and toilet using a Hoyer lift

Support with bathrooming and hygiene needs in a respectful and professional manner

Monitor and manage the students physical well-being throughout the day

Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and family to ensure consistent care

Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to care protocols and safety procedures
Requirements:

Active LPN License in the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)

Experience with personal care and mobility support (Hoyer lift experience preferred)

CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

School-based or pediatric experience is a plus

Must be professional, compassionate, and able to maintain confidentiality

Ability to lift, transfer, and physically assist the student safely throughout the day
