Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We’re seeking enthusiastic, dedicated educators licensed in New Hampshire to serve schools in the Hooksett area. This contract opportunity extends through the remainder of the current school year, with strong potential for continued service into the 2026/2027 school year. Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current and valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher license required
  • Experience teaching in elementary, middle, or high school settings (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt lessons and instructional techniques to diverse learning needs
  • Comfortable collaborating with educational teams, students, and families
  • Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring preferred
  • Compassionate, patient demeanor and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with varying exceptionalities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate student inclusion and success
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and assistive technologies
  • Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
