Job Title: Store Operations Specialist
Location: Framingham, MA (01701)
Duration: 06 months (Potential to extend)
Pay rate: $26.60/hr. on W2
Job Description:
- The Store Operations Specialist represents Store Operations and Field in all IT System projects impacting stores. Supports special projects related to operational and technical changes. Evaluates store systems applications and serves as an internal consultant to ensure the business needs are being met. Coordinates with cross-functional project teams to perform the assessment, design, development, pilot, implementation, and evaluation of systems. Aligns instructional design and technical training programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps determine which operational and project changes best support the roadmap
- Participates in the evaluation, design, and development of processes, systems, or programs developed internally and externally
- Operational business consultant to the Zone/Regional offices
- Prepare and present data and information on projects and operations
- Liaison between the IT team and Store/Field Operations
- Provides problem-solving, procedural, and technical support to store associates, management, and field management for all systems, including POS, Cash Office, Inventory Management, Markdowns, and other Back Office systems
- Support in evaluating and making recommendations to the next level of management
- Complete end-user testing, determine ROI business cases, and facilitate ongoing meetings to discuss any issues
- Supports right-sizing of IT assets/hardware in the store
- Follow up on day-to-day operations to ensure overall technical support processes meet business needs
- Conduct store visits to complete onsite assessments of technology (once every one to two weeks)
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in retail management (providing problem-solving, procedural, and technical support to store associates, including POS, Cash Office, Inventory Management, Markdowns, and other Back Office systems) OR technology/systems background
- Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint experience Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint experience,
- Experience with Power BI dashboards
