Mow Crew Leader Job Description
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mow Crew Leader to oversee lawn maintenance operations and lead a team of landscaping professionals. The Mow Crew Leader will ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a crew in mowing, trimming, and maintaining lawns and landscapes.
- Operate and maintain mowing equipment such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Ensure the crew follows safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Train new crew members on proper techniques and equipment use.
- Communicate with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain daily records of work completed and equipment usage.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have 2-3+ years proven experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year proven experience in a management/supervisory role.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
