ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI) seeks a student intern to join its fast-paced, innovative business. DTI is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high-power electrical equipment. Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop the worlds most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories. Term:

• Summer 2026

Responsibilities:

• Assist DTI engineers in design and documentation of electrical assemblies for radar transmitters and modulators for physics experiments, etc.
• Wiring components using schematics, and/or wiring diagrams
• Mechanical assembly and light fabrication, occasionally with power tools
• Assist in testing with electronic test equipment, electronic test procedures

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering degree program as a Junior or Senior
• Basic knowledge in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, sketches
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel and Word required
• Ability to interact with scientists, engineers, draftsmen and technicians
• U.S. Citizen

Other:

• Knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD a plus
