Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Assist with monthly contract invoices including entering into the general ledger</li>
\n
<li>Record all gifts/receivables within the general ledger and reconcile AR</li>
\n
<li>Review payroll records and prepare payroll journal entry</li>
\n
<li>Assist with audit preparation</li>
\n</ul>
Background Expected of the Staff Accountant:\n \n
<ul>\n
<li>Associate degree in accounting or related field OR additional 3 years of working experience</li>
\n
<li>1+ year(s) of experience in an accounting role</li>
\n
<li>Proficiency in payroll is highly preferred</li>
\n
<li>Nonprofit industry familiarity is a plus</li>
\n</ul>
