The Senior Finance Manager will partner closely with site leadership and corporate finance while maintaining a strong presence within the operation. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys getting beyond the numbers — spending time on the shop floor, partnering with operations, understanding the drivers behind financial results, and using that knowledge to improve performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead all accounting operations (GL, close, reporting, controls)
  • Own budgeting & forecasting in partnership with operations and corporate FP& A
  • Analyze financial performance, cost drivers, and variances
  • Partner closely with plant leadership on cost control, purchasing, and business decisions
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance and operations
  • Provide financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Strong hands-on accounting background combined with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, plant, shop-floor, or similarly operational environment

Preferred Experience

  • Aerospace, defense, government contracting, or another complex manufacturing environment
  • Experience implementing process improvements, automation, or technology-driven efficiencies
  • Exposure to AI-enabled finance/accounting tools or process improvements

Why This Role

  • This is an opportunity to become the key finance leader for a complex operating site while joining a growing organization with additional opportunities for career advancement.
  • The position offers significant interaction with senior leadership, broad ownership beyond traditional accounting, and the ability to make a tangible impact on the operation.
  • The environment is collaborative, hands-on with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
