A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide vital services to students in grades 3-5 and middle school populations. This is a full-time opportunity spanning from August 2026 through June 2027, with scheduling flexibility for candidates interested in part-time work.
In this contract position, you'll play a central role in helping young learners develop essential communication skills, empowering them for academic and social success. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to deliver tailored services that make a meaningful difference.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible for state licensure in New Hampshire
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with elementary and middle school students, is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through direct and consultative services
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Serve as a resource to teachers and families regarding students’ communication abilities
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
