Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing facility in Peabody, MA to bring on Quality Control Inspectors. This is a temp to hire position, with plenty of overtime available!

Position: Quality Control Inspector
Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Pay Range: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on shift and experience)

Position Summary:
Adecco is partnering with a reputable manufacturing facility to bring on a Quality Control Inspector. In this role, you will help ensure all materials and finished products meet stringent quality standards before they are shipped. This is a hands-on position requiring close attention to detail, teamwork, and experience with inspection tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods for compliance with specifications

  • Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Document and report inspection findings, noting any deviations or quality concerns

  • Conduct first article inspections and collaborate with teams to ensure process alignment

  • Flag and segregate non-conforming parts and materials

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and reduce defects

  • Partner with production teams to maintain quality standards on the floor

  • Maintain accurate inspection logs and documentation

  • Assist with the calibration and upkeep of inspection equipment

  • Always follow safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical training a plus)

  • 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Familiar with inspection methods, quality processes, and manufacturing standards

  • Comfortable reading blueprints and technical documents

  • Proficient with hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus

  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
