Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Cardiac Imaging

Job Details:
\n
• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures under physician direction requiring independent judgment and initiative
\n• Create technically diagnostic exams for interpretation by cardiologist or radiologist
\n• On-call requirements include 1 week of scheduled on-call approximately every 5th or 6th week
\n• Required to work one hospital holiday each year on rotating basis
\n• Ability to switch on-call and holiday shifts with other Echo Techs with supervisor approval
\n• Assist cardiologists during invasive ultrasound procedures
\n• Review order requisitions for pertinent information and special requests
\n• Complete documentation on patient exams and ensure appropriate exam charges
\n• Maintain medical supplies and stock items in all examination rooms
\n• Prepare and clean patient exam rooms and equipment
\n• Must maintain current NH State License and appropriate credentials
\n• Degree or certificate from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program required
\n• Certification in cardiac ultrasound by ARDMS or CCI within 12 months of graduation required
\n• Basic Life Support certification required
\n• Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
\n• Position involves combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
\n• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
