Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Office in Boston MA

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security/Law Experience

As a Security Officer - Construction Site Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. You will document observations, respond to requests, and escalate concerns as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors at a government location by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and document security-related activity through patrol logs, incident reports, and shift reports, escalating concerns according to post orders.
  • Support traffic and/or pedestrian flow near entrances, restricted areas, and work zones, assisting with direction and compliance with posted rules and site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
