Step into a vital role supporting student communication needs in an engaging school setting, working with elementary and preschool students. This contract position is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking part-time hours and the opportunity to make a significant impact.

This opportunity offers a schedule of 21 hours per week across three days, primarily serving a 2nd-5th grade caseload, with occasional support for preschool students in an ABA self-contained program. The position is onsite, Mondays through Fridays, and continues through June 17, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Active SLPA licensure in New Hampshire.
• Prior school-based experience required.
• Ability to support both elementary and preschool students as needed.
• Comfortable collaborating within an ABA self-contained environment.
• Willingness to complete district fingerprinting prior to start.
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork approach.
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs, under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support communication goals in collaboration with teachers, specialists, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session activities.
• Flexibly adjust day-to-day tasks to fit caseload demands, including stepping in to assist with preschool groups if required.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and participate in meetings when necessary.
