Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support shipping and distribution operations in Lincoln, Massachusetts. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can keep materials moving efficiently while maintaining accuracy across transportation and customs-related activities. The role works closely with internal teams and external partners to help ensure timely deliveries, organized documentation, and smooth day-to-day logistics execution.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate outbound and inbound shipments to help maintain efficient product movement across the supply chain.
• Work with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to schedule transportation and resolve delivery-related issues promptly.
• Prepare, review, and track shipping paperwork to support accurate and compliant logistics operations.
• Monitor order status and shipment timelines, providing updates when delays or exceptions arise.
• Support customs-related documentation and communication to help facilitate international shipping requirements.
• Maintain organized logistics records and update systems to reflect shipment activity, inventory movement, and transportation details.• Experience supporting logistics, distribution, or shipping operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of transportation coordination and day-to-day shipment management.
• Familiarity with customs processes and shipping documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
• Effective communication skills for working with carriers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with logistics systems, spreadsheets, or related tracking tools.
