PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Perform a variety of Service-related shipping, packing and parts picking activities as assigned.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Package and prepares for shipping customers finished repairs. Performs any and all other tasks for shipment, including labeling via UPS/FedEx/USPS computer system. Prepare for shipping all Service-related company items as requested
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation and enter appropriate data into the computer system as required. Opens incoming packages from customers to the service department and enters them into the ERP system while ensuring the firearm is unloaded and can be moved throughout the department safely.
  • Load, unload and transports materials, components and supplies using fork truck, hand truck company vehicle, and other moving devices as required. Replenish service inventory part bins.
  • Assist gunsmiths in obtaining parts required that are not stored within the Service Department.
  • Work with supplies to ensure proper inventory counts are done as well as transactions for inventory movement.
  • Packs products in accordance with specifications for various models and uses prescribed methods to maintain quality standards for packing.
  • Maintains a standard level of production output given the normal level of production interference.
  • Use prescribed methods to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean work area. Cleans and maintains equipment as required. Following specific safety and operations procedures at all times.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned. May train or instruct others how to perform this job.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of computer operation, product, and basic planning skills required

Fork truck operation required
