Schedule: Monday–Friday days, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay Rate:
Travel Rate: $ 2,986 per week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Laboratory Donor Transfusion Supervisor for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of blood transfusion services and donor collection operations.
- Develop, implement, and standardize policies, procedures, and practices for blood bank operations.
- Supervise blood donor center activities, including donor recruitment, collection planning, and mobile or off-site collections.
- Oversee blood bank testing processes, including blood typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and serologic testing.
- Monitor quality control, instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and accurate reporting of test data.
- Support staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, inventory control, and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory sciences or a related field.
- ASCP, NCA, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in a blood center.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements, including AABB and FDA standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, lead teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to donor sites throughout the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- SBB certification preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience in a full transfusion service facility preferred.
- Experience in blood donor operations, marketing, and donor recruitment preferred.
