Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • At least 60 college credits, or eligibility to obtain a para certification (which you can pursue during your assignment)
  • Prior experience working with middle school-aged children is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with students and staff
  • Adaptability and willingness to work with diverse learners
  • Commitment to encouraging student growth and engagement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers by supporting students in small-group and one-on-one settings
  • Provide academic and behavioral support based on students’ individual needs
  • Help implement instructional plans and adjust assistance as directed
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all learners
  • Support documentation and progress monitoring as directed by the teaching team
