Deerfield Packaging is looking to employ Kitters to assemble tool kits and prepare them for delivery.
Job Characteristics
Assemble kits based on order contents
Properly identify and assemble correct packaging and boxes to house kits
Stack finished kits onto pallets move finished pallets into proper location or pass to freight staff for shipping
Print and label tools with specific labeling requirements
Read and interpret shop prints, matching specifications to finished tools to ensure quality assurance
Maintain kit bibles as standard operating procedures
Participate in training new employees when needed
Required Skills
Provide input and suggestions to continuously improve the warehouse
Able to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy
Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Written and verbal English communication skills
Collaborate effectively and work well in a team
Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE)
Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Punctual and able to adhere to attendance policy
Required Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education/Experience
Experience working in a manufacturing/industrial facility
