What Youll Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (including lathes and 3-axis machining centers).
- Work with mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models to determine material requirements, tools, feeds, and setups.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision instruments (micrometers, gauges, indicators).
- Operate manual machines (Bridgeport, lathes, grinders) as needed.
- Maintain machines through preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and work within tight tolerances.
- Practical CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam preferred; Fanuc controls a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
