Job Description

Clinical Audiologist

Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeons of Western New England has an opportunity for a full-time clinical audiologist to join a well-established, physician-owned private practice that has been serving the region since 1972. Our Springfield office, built in 2009, was designed to accommodate the growing needs of the largest ENT practice in Western Massachusetts. The facility uses state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and has a dedicated, separate waiting area and entrance for the hearing aid fitting program. Today, our team consists of 6 licensed audiologists.

We are proud to be the practice where area practitioners refer their most challenging cases. We offer advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities in-house, including a high-resolution CT scanner and a robust caseload that gives our audiologists the opportunity to work closely with both general otolaryngology and our own fellowship-trained neuro-otologist. From complex vestibular disorders to bone conduction implants, this position offers exposure to a diverse range of cases not typically seen in general practice settings.

This full-time role is based primarily in our Springfield location, with occasional travel (1–2 times per month) to our Northampton satellite office.

Interested applicants please submit their resume for consideration.

Job Responsibilities

The applicant will be expected to perform diagnostic audiometry (1 year old to geriatric population) and fitting hearing aids on adults. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Pure tone air & bone audiometry
  • Speech audiometry
  • Immittance audiometry including tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing
  • Otoacoustic emissions testing
  • Ear impressions
  • Real-ear verification using the Audioscan Verifit II
  • Concise & accurate reporting & record keeping
