JOB DESCRIPTION:
Med-Surg: Acute M/S Tele RN.
Every other weekend requirement.
NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, telemetry strip interpretation all done by bedside.
Requirements: • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS are required - NIHSS prior to starting; Telemetry certification is preferred
• 5 years’ experience in med surg tele OR 3 years of tele experience is required
• Prior travel is required
• Must have completed 2 travel assignments in 300+ bed facilities OR have previous experience at any UVMHN acute care facility
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
Additional Information: • IVS to OFFER
• Monday to Sunday
• Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday
• No block schedules for any reason
• This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit
• Please ensure all employment gaps over 30 days are explained
• Covid and Flu declinations accepted- please have either proof or declinations in packet
