Maintenance Manager | Manufacturing | CMMS
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance and reliability through effective management of maintenance tasks, compliance with safety regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for all machinery and equipment to ensure reliability and uptime.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and schedule repairs.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee the preventative and scheduled maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track maintenance activities, manage work orders, and analyze maintenance data for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance supplies and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet budgetary constraints.
- Establish and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure maintenance performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, promoting a culture of employee safety throughout the maintenance team.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field. Bachelors Degree is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years Manufacturing Experience with 3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, techniques, and best practices, including preventative and scheduled maintenance.
- Experience with machinery, equipment, and facilities maintenance is essential.
- Familiarity with HSE regulations and employee safety practices.
- Prior experience utilizing CMMS system for scheduled maintenance assignments.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to develop and motivate a maintenance team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
