Step into a vital school-based role as an Occupational Therapist supporting positive outcomes for students and staff for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity near Claremont, New Hampshire offers both part-time (up to 20 hours/month) and full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) options, providing flexibility to suit your needs. You’ll work directly onsite, playing a key part in ensuring quality of occupational therapy services across the district.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical supervision for up to two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), contributing to each COTA’s professional growth and guaranteeing compliance with New Hampshire state requirements. Each OT will oversee approximately seven hours of supervision per COTA monthly, with essential documentation and ongoing collaboration with school and district staff. Travel to and from the district is reimbursed at the current IRS mileage rate, supporting your work across school sites.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in New Hampshire
- Experience in school-based practice and in supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Capacity for accurate, timely documentation and administrative tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, onsite clinical supervision to assigned COTAs
- Document supervision and maintain compliance paperwork
- Liaise with school teams to support service delivery
- Offer mentorship, guidance, and expertise in a supportive educational environment
