Position Overview
We are seeking an HVAC Technician with 2–3 years of hands-on experience. This role is ideal for a developing technician who is comfortable performing installations, maintenance, and basic service work while continuing to build advanced troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems
- Assist with light commercial service and installation projects
- Diagnose common mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and system adjustments
- Install HVAC units, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and related components
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system status and recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC trade school, certification, or apprenticeship preferred
- 2–3 years of field experience in residential HVAC
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and controls
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- EPA 608 certification preferred
