Mainstay Technologies is looking for the entry-level professional who loves technology and people. The Systems Technician works on a team to deploy new workstations, provide on-site support for clients, troubleshoot initial issues, and deliver top-quality service both in the office and at client sites. As a member of the team, you’ll be immersed in a culture of mutual support, collaborative problem solving, learning/development, and comic relief.
This is a growth-oriented role. As a qualified applicant, you will bring solid Windows and desktop experience (and ideally, education). Once in this role, certifications are paid-for, continuous training is provided, significant experience is gained, and a growth track is outlined.
What you will be doing:
- Installing new Windows computers at client sites
- Transferring data, setting up applications, and making it a seamless transition for the client, with as close to 100% accuracy as possible
- Answering client questions, assisting them with their technology.
- Resolving issues quickly and efficiently, and helping our clients get back to their work, with technology that works effectively. Dealing with Level 1 issues and troubleshooting, supported by the team
- Working in an advanced ticketing system and RMM (ConnectWise).

Technical Qualifications and Skills:
- Significant experience troubleshooting or working with Windows computers.
- Understanding of basic network protocols. Experience supporting a network a plus.
- Formal education preferred – associates, bachelors, and/or industry certifications.

Location
We believe in Work-from-Anywhere AND in the value of in-person relationships. We provide nearly unlimited flexibility to work remotely, but we do hold team meetings and all-staffs in person. We also maintain a beautiful office in Manchester, NH and a satellite office in Laconia, and we encourage each team member to choose their own balance of home and in-office work, that maximizes wellbeing. We do encourage all teammates to come in weekly, but it is not required. Applicants must live within driving distance to support clients, onboarding, and ongoing team integration.
