Role Description This is a full-time Mortgage Loan Originator role based in Woburn, MA, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The Mortgage Loan Originator will identify and develop new mortgage business through referrals, networking, and outreach to prospective borrowers. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their financial goals, collecting and analyzing borrower information, structuring loan options, and guiding clients through the application process. The role involves coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure timely and compliant loan approvals, while maintaining accurate pipeline management and documentation. The Mortgage Loan Originator will also stay current with lending guidelines, market trends, and company products to provide informed recommendations and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Mortgage Lending and Loan Origination to effectively guide borrowers through the home financing process.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Underwriting and Loans to assess borrower eligibility, understand credit risk, and support sound lending decisions.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Finance to interpret financial documents, evaluate income and debt ratios, and explain loan terms clearly.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • \n

  • Proven sales, customer service, or relationship management experience in mortgage or related financial services.
  • \n

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple files and deadlines.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local mortgage regulations; NMLS registration or eligibility to obtain NMLS licensing as required.

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
