Absolute POS is seeking individuals looking to blend their restaurant management experience and technical know how together. The implementation technician is a hybrid role. Employees work a mixture of onsite and remote Service Appointments to support restaurants with their Point of Sale system. Onsite work is assigned as the priority and remote jobs are assigned as backfill. Travel may be requested from time to time. The majority of these Service Appointments are installations, trainings and go-live support for restaurants.

Learn the Toast POS system and become a product expert
Install/Configure Toast hardware including tablets, printers and other peripherals
Design and install wired / WiFi networks for customer locations
Test/Troubleshoot unknown managed networks
Run training sessions with front of house, back of house and restaurant management
Maintain and document implementation plans and network diagrams
Provide on-site and remote support to client locations when needed
Efficiently operate in a remote setting using phone calls, virtual meetings, emails, etc.


Ideal Candidate

Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin (not required)
Hospitality background
Restaurant management background
Super customer service skills
Knowledge of restaurant menu structure
Excellent communication skills
Highly self-motivated
Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot in a timely manner
Adaptability and strong work ethic
Demonstrates attention to detail and strong organization skills
Practical wired / WiFi networking and troubleshooting experience
Restaurant POS experience required

Full-time per hour basis with overtime available.
Predominantly weekday schedule with optional weekends when available.
