We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Hospice Manager to oversee daily operations of our hospice program. This role involves managing clinical and administrative staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of patient-centered care. Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the hospice program, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Manage and support a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and LNA’s. Support the non-medical team including social work, spiritual care, and volunteers.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations (e.g., Medicare Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards).
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance through quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare partners to coordinate seamless care.
  • Lead staff training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in budget planning and financial oversight for the hospice department.
  • Serve as a liaison to patients, families, and the community to promote services and support outreach efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze program reports to support data driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Active RN license in NH.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health.
  • Deep understanding of hospice philosophy and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Empathetic communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
