Job DescriptionMailroom Clerk
Job Summary
The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for supporting daily mailing and document processing operations in an office environment. This role involves preparing mailings, scanning documents, sorting mail, and packaging completed materials for distribution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable performing repetitive tasks, and able to work both seated and standing throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and digitize documents accurately.
- Fold letters and prepare documents for mailing.
- Insert documents into envelopes.
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail.
- Package completed mailings for distribution.
- Lift boxes and move materials using carts as needed.
- Maintain organization and accuracy throughout the mail preparation process.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based environment (not a warehouse setting).
- Approximately 50% of the workday is spent standing and moving around.
- Document scanning activities are performed while seated.
- Employees are assigned a workspace; however, desk locations may change based on operational needs.
- Ability to lift boxes and push mail carts safely throughout the workday.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
