Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit position
\n• 23-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratio
\n• Day shift: 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides
\n• Night shift: 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides
\n• Work every other weekend with no on-call requirement
\n• Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED
\n• Work with equipment including bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow oxygen, chronic ventilators, and subdural drains
\n• Utilize Meditech EMR system
\n• Perform typical procedures including chest tubes and EEGs
\n• Must have telemetry and step-down experience
\n• Preferred experience in neuro and trauma
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Preferred certifications: NIHSS and TNCC
\n• Must be team oriented
\n• Professional scrub attire required with no specific color requirement
