Join a leading company in Westford, MA, as a Surface Mount Technology Operator on the 2nd shift. Shift of the SMT Operator:
2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay Rate/Salary of the SMT Operator:
$22 - $25 per hour plus a 10% shift differential, based on experience. = $24 - $27 (depending on experience with SMT)
Responsibilities of the SMT Operator:
- Set up and operate surface mount equipment for printed circuit board assembly.
- Perform basic maintenance and assist maintenance technicians as needed.
- Identify and report defective components to ensure quality standards.
- Track work progress and communicate line status every hour.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure compliance with ISO procedures.
Qualifications of the SMT Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in equipment operation preferred.
- Experience with pick and place equipment; Universal Fuzion experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of component identification and handling, including ESD requirements.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
