About the Role:
E Ink is seeking an innovative and result-focused Electronics Display System (EDS) Verification Engineer to test and qualify display systems consisting of E Ink display modules and proprietary driving electronics (a controller).
About the position
This position involves developing relevant tests and test procedures and executing them.
Testing and verification include electrical and optical performance of E Ink display systems.
Part of the job is to become familiar with E Ink technology and methods of driving E Ink displays. The position requires the ability to work in a collaborative development team environment and with other development teams.
Responsibilities
- Test and verify E Ink display modules using proprietary controllers:
- Integration of display modules with driving controller
- Display modules electrical and optical performance
- Qualifying controllers’ features in context of display optical performance
- Timing generation
- Work closely with waveform development team and test E Ink display optical performance as a function of waveform modes/schemes
- Investigate and resolve performance and reliability issues through root-cause analysis
- Deliver documentation and data analysis, clearly communicating results and recommendations
- Proactively seek opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Support and track time-sensitive projects
Qualifications
- BSEE or MSEE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field (electronic system testing and verification)
- Understanding of electrical circuits and active-matrix backplanes, or relevant technologies
- Programming experience (C++, Python, Matlab)
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Ability to create and follow relevant test procedures
Preferences
- Understanding of display systems and active matrix scanning schemes
- Experience with embedded systems or micro controllers and related electronic interfaces

Salary Range Disclosure: The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 not including any variable pay. The total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other variable pay components. The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
